Pleased to make your acquaintance, Barbara! That's a great connection — and I probably should have mentioned in my post that it's also on attendees to find their own happiness, to discover whatever mix of in-the-moment and extrasensory (for lack of a better term) works for them.

A light bulb went off for me last summer at a meeting that Sarah Michel and Danielle Cote designed — the Sage Summit. The meeting, designed to maximize engagement between attendees, was wildly successful and used a variety of platforms, including webinars and Twitter, to connect attendees. During a key session, the meeting's Twitter hashtag practically went dark — because attendees were too busy collaborating to take out their smartphones and tablets and tweet.

Hi Barbara,

I apologize for the delayed response. Suresh Babu, Senior Executive of Cruise Tourism in Dubai, informed me that you'd need to contact the cruise line directly, as they will have appointed ground handlers for when the ship arrives who will help you acquire a tourist visa for the U.A.E.

Please let us know if you have any other questions. Enjoy your time in Dubai, and all the other great places you'll see on your trip!

Team building games, activities and exercises are best ways to develop team synergy. Unconventional corporate training programs are more creative, innovative and effective in creating positive team dynamics. ..

We are cruising Barcelona to Singapore. One of the stops is Dubai where we will be for less than nine hours. As Canadians, we need transit or visitors visas. Do you have any recommendations where we can get this visa in GTA?

Thanks again for participating in the Forum, Leisl! Kelly was adamant about taking advantage of having an audience made up almost exclusively of experience meeting professionals and Convening Leaders attendees -- and you all certainly did not disappoint.

To be able to share ideas with others in the industry was one great part of this session. But beyond that, knowing that your voice may impact the national meeting for meeting planners lets us feel like we're making an impact on the future if the industry.
